Go to the official MetaMask website and click "Download." Select the Chrome option and you will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.
Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm. The MetaMask icon will appear in your browser toolbar.
Click the MetaMask icon to ensure the welcome screen appears.
Click "Get Started" → "Create a Wallet." Set a strong password, and you will be given a 12-word secret recovery phrase. Write it down offline.
If you have a previous MetaMask wallet, select "Import Wallet" and enter your 12-word recovery phrase to regain access.
